I am so enchanted (pun intended) by the idea of a dangerous library. Boundless, not completely explored by any one person...imagine the Vatican Library, if it contained a doorway to Narnia, a room that might devour you, and books and documents that could end--or change--the world, even if you merely touched them. Librarians require daggers, rape whistles, and clockwork mice to fetch help if whistling and blades fail.
Tim Curry's narration only deepens my thrall.
